After 5 years of walking around the conservatory, it's finally going to happen. Drummer Koen Gardebroek is graduating! His love for hip-hop, jazz, soul and alternative styles has only deepened and broadened during his studies.
Thanks to inspiring teachers such as Joost van Schaik, Rene Creemers, Bouke van Olst and Erik Albers, as well as friends and colleagues, Koen looks back on a period filled with fond memories and instructive years.
His college years were not only filled with drumming, but also with developing other creative skills. Koen has formed himself as a writer, producer and mixer alongside his conservatory studies, producing and mixing for various artists and bands.
At his graduation concert, Koen will play with his band Koi Forest and a composition band.
Expect an exciting mix of his own work and interpretations of existing tracks, including some with which Koen once made his entrance at the conservatory. Coming full circle! Koen is ready for the next adventure.
